Patio Season in Belleville Pt 2

Patios of Belleville – Part 2 – North End

If your perfect vacation or weekend is wining and dining your way through a town, than I imagine one of your favourite things about summer (much like mine) is patio season. With over 100 restaurants, cafes, bistros & bars Belleville has no shortage of patios to explore all around the city. We can’t possibly cover all of the patios in Belleville, so in this blog we are going to cover some of the best patios where you can enjoy an adult beverage. In part 2 of our patio season blog we are going to focus on the North end of Belleville, which features a mixture of traditional restaurants that you know and love, local hot spots, and one of the best patio’s in the entire city. So join us as we put our feet on the street to explore the patio spots in North end Belleville!

Boston Pizza – 180 Bell Blvd.

Surrounding The Quinte Mall are a few of your favourite traditional restaurants that are perfect for families, large groups and sports teams. One of these restaurants is Boston Pizza. Boston Pizza has a large spacious patio space perfect for enjoying your favourite pizzas, pastas, Appy Hour, a fishbowl or some of the best local wines & beers. If you like BP (and who doesn’t) this one is a great mix of classic Boston Pizza with a local flair.

Linguine’s Italian Restaurant – 257 North Front St.

Serving up incredible authentic Italian food for over 20 years in Belleville, Linguine’s is a local favourite and Reader’s Choice Award winner for Italian Restaurants. With a street facing patio on North Front St. this patio is in the middle of the city, just minutes away from Downtown, hotels, The Quinte Mall and just about everything else. While this patio might not have beautiful views like some of the other patios, what it lacks in a view it more than makes up for with wonderful food, fresh flowers and a fabulous wine & cocktail menu.

Lonestar Texas Grill – 130 Bell Blvd.

Another traditional restaurant with a great patio is Lone Star Texas Grill. Get a taste of authentic Texas served up with that famous southern hospitality. Conveniently located just steps away from The Quinte Mall and next door to the Galaxy Cinema, this beautiful patio is perfect for dinner & drinks after a day of shopping or before going to check out the latest superhero flick. Lonestar is also home to a variety of patio parties & the occasional live performance.

Montana’s BBQ & Bar – 170 Bell Blvd.

Another family favourite just steps away from The Quinte Mall and Cinema Galaxy is Montana’s BBQ & Bar. This traditional BBQ joint is the perfect spot to take the family for all things BBQ. This quaint little patio is perfect for soaking up some sun while enjoying a plate of ribs or The Big Smoke Sampler.

Piper Arms Pub – 170 North Front St.

This neighbourhood pub is one of Belleville’s newest restaurants and serves up a menu full of comfort food and British fare alongside 21 beers on tap. Much like other patios on North Front St. it doesn’t have a beautiful bay view but what it lacks in a view it makes up for in great food, a great atmosphere and an awesome kids menu for families and large groups.

Shoeless Joe’s Sports Grill – 13 Bell Blvd.

A true sports bar through and through, Shoeless Joe’s is the perfect spot to check out any sporting event that you could possibly want to see. An official partner of the AHL Belleville Senators, more TV’s than you can shake a stick at and a unique twist on a traditional patio, you know this is where sports fans hang out. Want to sit on a patio but not miss the game? Like the summer breeze but don’t want to cook in the sun? Shoeless Joe’s giant windows open right up and make it feel like you are on a patio with a warm summer breeze, watching the game and not melting in the heat. Great if you like patios, but only when the weather is perfect, because with an inside/outside patio the weather is always perfect (except when it rains)!

Shoreline’s Casino/Windward Restaurant & Lounge – 380 Bell Blvd

When you think of a casino you probably think of card tables and slots, but at Shoreline’s you can also enjoy a beautiful patio and some incredible food at the Windward Restaurant & Lounge. This full service patio is perfect for enjoying a drink, some food and a little live music after hitting that big jackpot, and even if you don’t hit the jackpot you’ll still enjoy soaking up some rays on this gorgeous patio.

Signal Brewry – 86 River Rd. (Corbyville)

Arguably the best patio in Belleville is actually located outside of the city in the beautiful hamlet of Corbyville. Located in the old H. Corby Distillery, Signal is the perfect combination of historic beauty and modern amenities. As the address suggests this stunning patio is located right on the Moira River (River Rd. get it lol). With nothing but beautiful trees, greenery and water views as far as you can, the view will make you believe you’re sipping a cold beer on your own private lakefront dock. And when the weather is just right, on a beautiful summer evening you might even be lucky and catch an outdoor concert or two. This patio is a must for anyone that likes food, beer, scenic views, sunshine, puppies, actually hey let’s just say everyone.

Slapshot Bar & Grill – 151 Cannifton Rd.

Another local favourite bar to kick back and watch any big game, fight or major sporting event is the sports hot spot Slapshot Bar & Grill. With a full fleet of TV’s and a huge projection screen, you will regularly see viewing parties happening here for the biggest sporting events of the year. But we are talking patios today and Slapshot Bar & Grill provides the perfect little patio to enjoy a cold beer and the BEST wings in town with friends. Stop in after a round of golf at Trillium Wood or Black Bear Ridge or after a game of pick up at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre, you won’t be disappointed.
