Pop-ups on the Bay are taking summer fun to a whole new level on Belleville’s riverfront. Now you might be asking, “what is a pop-up?” A pop-up is a temporary store/shop that takes advantage of a unique location, trend or seasonal product or service.
In the case of the Pop-ups on the Bay, it means summer adventures, delicious food and sweet treats. For the first time Belleville’s riverfront will be booming with activities all summer long. Enjoy bike rentals, fire-cooked pizza, ice cream, healthy treats, games, entertainment and so much more!
Riverside Park is already a hot spot for family fun and adventure. Home to the Pirate Ship Park (it’s exactly what it sounds like) Splash Pad, Skateboard Park and Riverside Bike Park all right beside the beautiful Riverside Trail. And now joining all that fun and adventure is three local businesses that will be ‘popping up’ in Riverside Park for the summer – 7 days a week from June 7 to September 2, 2019!
1 – Brick Oven Pizza Truck
Brick Oven Pizza will be serving up authentic, delicious, traditional, fire-cooked pizza from its brand new and exciting mobile food truck that combines the perfect mix of old traditions and new technology. When we talk about traditional pizza, we are referring to the pizza that is typically found all over Italy; fire-cooked, thin, crispy and offered with a wide variety of toppings. This pizza is amazing!
Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
2 – Doug’s Bicycle
